What 800 service do you use?
Jan, we actually provide an 800 call capture marketing system (http://www.realestategrowth.com) but we’re going to have some big news in the next couple of weeks on that front. I can’t say much more until the details are ironed out but I’ll be posting the details here as soon as possible.
Hi Gary
Have to talk some more about this
Will have to listen later
Gary
There is a service that says you have to keep posting (and they charge)if you use craigs list or the posting goes to the bottom quickly.
I am not sure also if in NY we can do a posting without a price
Barb, I just checked and you don’t have to pay to post in the real estate section of New York’s Craigslist.
There are several services out there that will do postings for you and that is an option. I didn’t use one because it only took a few minutes of my time each day so I can’t give any recommendations on posting companies.
However you decide to post, the real key to this strategy here is to include a call to action in your posting that drives people to call the recorded info line. That’s how you get the leads and are able to make contact with the prospect.
That’s a great question though, Barb. Are there any other topics you’d like me to cover in our next few videos?
What is the cost for the 800 number to use or do we invest in a machine. I had bought one some years back and don’t use it now. Would it work? Not sure what the machine is called but it was one we used with Craig Porctor and still have it or do you set us up? I really need to know what that cost would be due to the down market we are in. Thanks Peg
At http://www.realestategrowth.com, I did not find any information about the “800 Call Capture Marketing System”. How can I find out about this tool?
Hi, Gary,
What is the best information to include on your recorded message - I’ve never done one before.
Very interesting - worth trying.
Thanks for your ideas.
Teddi
Peggy, the key is capturing the name and number of the person calling about your listing. As I mentioned to Barb, we do offer a Call Capture marketing system that does that for you, but this video wasn’t intended as a promotional item. I simply want to share with you a free strategy of generating buyer leads. Whether you decide to use our Call Capture system or someone else’s, I want to see agents like you growing their business.
We do have some exciting news on the horizon about our Call Capture marketing system, including a bundle of bonuses, but there are a few details that still need to be ironed out. If you are considering using a marketing system like this, I’d encourage you to check back here and keep a close eye out for more emails from me over the next couple of weeks.
If it is OK with you, I can have someone shoot you an email to help you out with your particular situation and answer any additional questions you may have.
Bruce, try http://www.realestategrowth.com/how_to_grow.asp. I would suggest using the print function on this page as it is about 21 pages of information but that will give you the nuts and bolts of our Call Capture/Direct Response Marketing systems.
However, just like I mentioned to Barb and Peggy, we have some exciting news on the horizon about our systems so you may want to keep checking your email and this blog page to make sure you don’t miss out on more great content and bonuses. We just have a few more things to iron out before we start into all of that and we don’t want this to turn into any kind of sales pitch.
Right now, we just want to help as many agents as we can with some free strategies. Thanks for commenting! I hope this helps you!
Jodi, that’s another great question and maybe we can create another report on that and offer it to everyone later too.
In the meeantime, I would suggest a very pleasant “verbal tour” of the home. You can listen to a demonstration of this type of recording by calling 800-959-6550 and entering extension 102.
Keep checking back with us here too. I have received some emails regarding similar questions so I am considering a brief report on this topic for all of our subscribers.
Gary:
Thank you for that video on Craig’s list postings. I learned a couple of good tips that I will implement today. Thanks for trying to help us as we struggle along at the business we love!
Good wishes,
Linda
Thanks so much I am goign to try it later today!
Hi Gary,
Great information, I was wondering if you disclose the price in the recording?
Gary, that was a very useful video. Thanks for sharing!
If you’re still taking requests, I’d love to hear what you have to say about working foreclosures and short sales.
Amber,
Disclosing the price is up to you. If you want to get more zero transfers (where the prospect transfers to talk to you directly) we suggest putting “For currently pricing information press 0.” If you want the prospect to have more information, you can include the price.
The key though is to leave out some bit of information so you have something more to share with the prospect on your follow up call.
Hey Gary,
I liked that tutorial! I made a go at CraigsList before and bombed. It looks like you may have figured it out.
For me, it’s all about good leads. Like Mr. Bradley, I too would like to know more about short sales. Seems like that would be a wide open area right now.
Sounds promising. I’ll give it a go. Look forward to your next offering. Thank YOU.
Thanks for the video, it was very helpful.
How and where do you get the 800 # to get the text messages from the leads? Also, the web address or email address for each listing?
Dear Craig,
I am a Real Estate Agent working in New Zealand.
Is this system you describe in the video available in New Zealand?
Could you email to me a response please.
Nat
I had proquest once and never hooked it up because I did not ask for help in getting started.
We appreciate your insite and approach to this subject. It look very exciting.
Thanks.
Hi,
Since in PA we must put our brokers’ number and company name, what do you suggest for that? Do you know any way to avoid that?
Thanks
Bill
I like the info provided on craigslist ads. How about more detail on the use of multiple emails and inbedding photos.
Maryanne,
Our company, Proquest Technologies, provides an 800 call capture system but we’ll have more details on that next week.
Bill,
I’m not sure where you’re required to put your brokers’ number and company name. Craigslist allows any individual to post a property for sale and nowhere on the PA portion of the site do I see a place for your broker number or company name. Can you explain a bit more of what you mean?
Great information. Question: why do you recommend 3 separate email accounts? Did you forward the leads to the agent? Last but least, are you willing to teach me how to market?
The video would noy pop up but heard the whole thing and loved it! Gr8 ideas! I would like to impliment this system. How much does it cost?
Nat,
I’ll send you an email this afternoon.
Linda,
I’m not sure what you mean by “hooked it up”. With our system there’s nothing to hook up, you just advertise the number through various methods (such as the Craigslist method we showed you in this video).
Greg and Mark,
I’ll be sending out an email on Monday that will hopefully answer a lot of your questions. I know that means you’ll have to be patient for a few days but I promise, it will be worth it.
Hi Gary,
Enjoyed the video, lots of usful ideas. I have posted on Craigs List, can’t wait to see the results from using your ideas.
Thanks,
Ruth
The original promotion promised three free amazing ideas, that you mentioned some of us never received due to being black listed. Will those of us so described ever get those?
I`m one of those waiting.
Hi Gary.
Thanks for the video and sharing your tips for generating leads from Craiglist.
What is the virtual tour company that you used for your Craiglist posting? Does it have a similar functionality to call capture whereby the lead must provide some info (at least their name and email address) before they can view the virtual tour?
Hello Gary.
This is very informative and shed light on Craig’s List for me, which I just read about recently. You answered many of my questions.
Thank you. I do appreciate you and your generous spirit of sharing in this changing market.
Mike,
I believe the email mentioned two reports (the Craigslist video and the Renters Report) but we also just released an interview with top of the line real estate coach, Bob Corcoran. Be sure to check that out and listen to it when you get the chance.
Your process appears to violate the rules of craigslist, for starters (from craigslist user agreement):
Additionally, you agree not to:
r) contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted, or make unsolicited contact with anyone for any commercial purpose;
v) … repeatedly post the same or similar Content or otherwise impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure;
Lynn,
The beautiful thing about this system is that when a prospect calls your number for recorded information, that gives you the right to contact them (even under the Do Not Call laws)!
As for section v, the key is to rotate your listings so that you’re not repeatedly posting the same listing over and over. Craigslist does a pretty good job of policing this kind of thing and if you use this method correctly you won’t have any problems.
Thank you. Now to digest the ideas and instructions. Bill
